b. Systematize the transposition of the EU legislation in the nation-
al legislation;
c. Demonstrate to the European Union that the national legislation
is thoroughly in compliance with the EU legislation.
WHO
Correlation tables are used by:
a. Sectoral ministries when transposing EU legislation, in the as-
sessment of the existing legislation and in the preparation of new
legislation that is to be harmonised;
b. The Secretariat for Legislation and institutions when examining
the compatibility of draft legal acts with the EU legislation;
c. The Assembly and any entity, public or private (interested par-
ties, associations, nongovernmental organisations) for debates
and/or monitoring of the progress of implementation process;
d. National negotiators whose work is connected with the EU in-
stitutions in the context of the accession policy.
WHAT
Correlation Tables are drawn in two forms:
a. Form EU-MK in which provisions of a certain EU legal act (reg-
ulation, directive, decision) are quoted as well as the relevant na-
tional legal acts; and
b. Form MK-EU in which provisions of a certain national draft le-
gal act are quoted as well as the relevant EU legal acts (regulation,
directive, and decision).
HOW
Correlation Tables are drawn in two standard forms by evaluating the
transposition, and in the CT MK-EU it is indicated as fully, partially or
not approximated, while in the CT EU-MK the evaluation of the extent
of transposition is rated as follows:
