in the bylaws for approximation with the European Union law for the
purpose of fulÞlling the obligations of the Republic of Macedonia
deriving from the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between
the Republic of Macedonia and the European Communities and their
Member States as well as the manner of its application.
Article 2
Bylaws for approximation with the European Union legal acts shall be
marked with (*) as a footnote placed at the end of the title, and the text
thereof shall indicate explanation including the title and CELEX No
of the EU legal act or acts with which the bylaw (act) is approximated,
as follows: “This bylaw (act) shall provide approximation with the
European Union legal act/acts (title), number (CELEX No).”
Article 3
By way of derogation from Article 2 of this Decision, the footnote in
the bylaws (acts) subject to approximation with the EU law, according
to Chapter 12 Food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy of the
National Programme for Adoption of the Acquis, in accordance with
Article of this Decision, except at the end of the title, may be placed on
article level. Marking referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made in such
a way that the Þnal provision shall be followed by a line after which
the marks “*1, *2, and etc.” Shall be orderly arranged, and the text of
the footnote shall indicate the article of the European Union legal act,
or the title and CELEX number thereof.
Article 4
This Decision shall enter into force on the eight day following that of
its publication in the OfÞcial Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia.
This Decision establishes a mark (*) at the end of the title of a nation-
al bylaw as a footnote, and the text thereof, placed at the end of the
Þrst page, indicating the title and CELEX No of the EU legal act or
acts with which the bylaw is approximated, as follows: {>“This bylaw
shall provide approximation with the European Union legal act/ acts
(title), and number (CELEX No).”
